Minerals

The dietary mineral products that we carry are in a liquid ionic angstrom-sized format. We do not carry colloidal minerals. Liquid minerals are the most accessible supplemental form for the body, as they are more quickly and easily absorbed and used. Liquid minerals do not need to be dissolved and digested like supplements in a pill form; they do not contain the fillers and binder ingredients that pills need to maintain their pill format; they are easier to swallow than large pills, or large quantities of pills; and they are easily mixed with fruit and vegetable juices for added nutrition when supplementing.

The process of breaking mineral particles in the soil down into a form usable by the body is usually accomplished by plants. Our nutritional needs are met by the foods we eat, whether directly from plants (fruits, vegetables, grains) or from the animals who eat those plants (meat and dairy).

Before the use of synthetic fertilizers and modern manufacturing processes, plants were rich with a usable form of the minerals, vitamins and other nutrients that our bodies need for everyday life. In the absence of good plant nutrition, other sources of nutrition become necessary.

2.	Colloidal and Ionic Minerals: The Difference is in the Absorption	In a colloid form, the minerals are evenly distributed throughout the medium in which they are suspended. Minerals in this colloid state are held in large, organized patterns, whereby they remain in suspension without settling out. Ionic minerals are comprised of atoms or collections of atoms that retain their intrinsic electric charge, either positive or negative. This electrical charge exists surrounding the atom because it is either missing an electron or has additional electrons within itâ€™s surrounding area. When the body absorbs ionized, or electrically charged minerals, they can be readily absorbed through our selectively permeable intestinal membranes.
